Crisis Awareness Training

OFCA Training Facility

Sign Up for the Crisis Awareness Training Workshop with Steven Click!

Often, we want to help another person, but don't know what to say or how to best assist them.

In conjunction with the Winter Symposium, the Ohio Fire Chiefs' Association is hosting two Crisis Awareness Training workshops for OFCA members with Steven Click, First Responder Liaison, Ohio Mental Health & Addiction Services.

The Crisis Awareness Training workshop will discuss issues such as: physical, cognitive, and emotional responses to trauma and alcohol/drug issues, and techniques and strategies for working through the effects of a traumatic incident. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about trauma and stress, as well as given resources and concepts to help not only someone else, but possibly yourself.

Join us on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM OR Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Ohio Fire Chiefs' Association Training Facility.

The cost of the workshop is FREE for OFCA members, and you do not have to be attending the Winter Symposium to attend the workshop.
