Toledo Fire Department Receives Top ISO Rating

When Toledo firefighters respond to either a medical emergency or a fire call, you should know they are among the best in the nation. An outfit called the Insurance Services Office rates departments on staffing, training, number of fire hydrants, location of fire stations even response times. That information was compiled and the department was rated on a 10-scale, 10 is the lowest rating. Monday, the fire chief announced that on ISOs scale, Toledo's rating is now a 1; the absolute best.
