Preventing Suicide in Public Safety Seminar

Seminar Overview
The cold hard truth is suicide exceeds the number public safety line of duty deaths.
This is an uncomfortable topic, but one that cannot be ignored. This one day seminar
is designed for members of law enforcement, fire, EMS and public safety
communication dispatchers and clergy. The seminar is also open to neighboring critical
incident stress management teams, mental health professionals. The intent of the
seminar is to help educate and provide tools to individuals that interact with members
of public safety to prevent suicide. This seminar is important because more members
of public safety die from suicide than actual emergency incidents.
