Professional Services: Written Promotional Testing Division
At OFCA, we recognize the critical importance of selecting and advancing the best candidates into leadership positions. We understand that each department faces unique challenges and operates within its own culture. OFCA's Written Professional Testing Division is a recognized leader in assisting departments with their promotional needs and securing the best outcomes while being flexible and responsive to your requirements.
Our written exams can be used to make promotional decisions or as the first step in narrowing the candidate pool to the top contenders. The exam can include questions where the applicant must choose the correct answer or where they must choose the correct or incorrect statement from a series of statements. Our Promotional Testing Team writes questions based on source materials collected by the team or can construct specific questions from resources provided by the department.
Our services include developing a specific and appropriate test for the department's position, administering it, and grading it. Our team will evaluate protests and provide a written response to you for your decision on handling the protest. As part of the grading process, an analysis of each candidate's score will be provided, broken down by candidate, for reference. We will provide a copy of the answer key and protest forms.
Entry-level examinations are also available.
